Ruby crystals (Al2O3:Cr3+) are grown by Czochralsky technique. It allows to obtain high quality samples and to manipulate their color purposefully — from light-red to pigeon's blood color. Laboratory research studies verified these crystals to be the complete analog of naturally occurring ruby.
